August 14, Saturday ------“MOTEL NO TELL”-------“TRIBUTE TO GORDIE”
720 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, Ca. 92648
From dawn ‘till 1:00
“Mystery Meet” or ”Meet Of Mystery” to be held at what will formerly be unknown as the Huntington Surf Inn.
Sponsored by NIKE 6.0 thanks to our very own Jason Cohn. This meet is Jason’s “brainchild” and is guaranteed to be something special. We will be taking over the parking lot and several rooms. The rooms will be individually thematic.
WE WILL BE FED FOR FREE !!!!!!!!
NIKE 6.0 IS DONATING STUFF FOR THE CLUB TO HOLD A RAFFLE !!!!!!!
THE “NIKE BIKINIED BRASS BAND” WILL BE PERFORMING !!!!!! (O.K. this last part isn’t true).

Owner Pat Phinney generously hosts us again at this beautiful location nestled in the Carmel Valley.
Last year’s meet at this location was a HUGE success !
This year we will set up on a different lawn below the restaurant.
Bring your family, camp at The Big Sur (only 30 minutes away) and surf some exotic waves.
$5.00 breakfast served to members. Plenty of free parking.

October 23, Saturday------Surfing Heritage Foundation

From dawn until the early afternoon.
You don’t want to miss this one ! The “Foundation” generously hosts this meet, which is held in the parking lot of the facility. At some point that morning, the doors to the exhibit will be opened and you will be welcomed inside to view the most stunning display of surfing history on this continent (some say “in the world”). Parking is hassle free. It can get hot, so bring liquids. Club member Erwin spitz is a “docent” for the Surfing Heritage Foundation and his “no fault directions” to the facility are as follows:
Exit Interstate 5 at Pico-----Take Pico inland/up the hill----Turn right at Cero ------Turn right at Calle Iglesia------Start looking for some crazy people.
